Finally was able to get into winners and homesense this week!!

Our house is barely decorated as I’ve been keeping my eye out for the perfect pieces!

So glad I did as I was able to find all these amazing pieces and can’t wait to find them all homes!

From drab to fab

This was definitely one of my favourite projects to work on!

I found this piece on Facebook marketplace and knew it was exactly what we were looking for. The previous owners had taken apart an old bookcase and turned it into an amazing table!

It definitely needed some tlc but the bones were amazing!

We tightened it all up and made sure it was well supported and then stained the legs with a charcoal accelerator!

The top I simply cleared with a satin finish as I wanted the natural/hints of the old sanded stain to pop through

All in all I couldn’t be happier!

What says I love you more than a custom bottle opener!

These bottle openers are made from upcycled skid wood which makes each opener completely unique!

They are are stained, painted, and cleared with a sealer to protect them from the elements!

Grow babies grow! 🌳🍎

Our baby apple trees are doing amazing since we planted them two weekends ago! When we originally planted them there were no buds and essentially looked like sticks in the ground lol.

In only two weeks they are both budding like crazy and the Ambrosia has even begun to flower!

These trees are both 2 years old and won’t produce apples for another 2 years but look how much they’ve grown already! We can’t wait for them to get nice and big and start producing some Honey Crisp and Ambrosia apples!

I check on these little guys literally every day to watch the progress of their growth and it brings me so much joy seeing how much they change on a daily basis

Take you’re time looking for what you want, because the pieces in your house can play a role in your mood and how you feel within your space.

For us it’s all about the earthy tones and creating a calm almost zen like atmosphere where you instantly feel relaxed and at home.

I had been searching for the perfect chair for our old piano that has been converted into a desk, and the moment I saw this one i knew it was the one!

Second hand finds are our favourite

We love being able to take something old and repurpose it within our lives. Not only do they tell their own stories, they also give the perfect amount of a rustic/vintage feel to our home.

We found these baskets on marketplace for $5 each! They were used at a local apple orchard for many years
