Four Rivers Co-op has made the decision to close our Broadway Gas Bar at 1258 Broadway Avenue South in Williams Lake, effective 01-November-2026.
We know this location has been part of the daily routine for many of our members and customers, and this was not a decision we made lightly. Following a review of our operations in Williams Lake, we determined that consolidating our fuel operations will allow us to serve the community more sustainably over the long term.
Our team members are an important part of Four Rivers Co-op, and every single employee in that location is being offered a job in either our two stores in 97 South or in our Agro stores. We want to reiterate that every employee of Broadway Gas Bar will be offered a job to join either of our other two stores and no jobs are being affected because of this decision.
Four Rivers Co-op is not leaving Williams Lake. Members and customers will continue to be served at our Hwy 97 Gas Bar at 1335 Cariboo Highway, as well as through our Williams Lake Farm & Ranch location and other Four Rivers Co-op services.
We are grateful to the employees, members, customers and community partners who have supported the Broadway Gas Bar over the years.
As a locally owned co-operative, our commitment to Williams Lake and the surrounding region remains strong. We look forward to continuing to serve the community for many years to come.
