ASSELSTINE HARDWARE

Well, its that time to say goodbye to a business that we started from the ground up. May 3rd 2012, we took over the building and turned it into a local independent hardware store. We couldn't have done it without the support of our local community, doing service out of the store for many, whether it be in-home appliance repairs, home plumbing fixes, some water treatment, or installing a new well pump to keep your water running. It was a great experience, meeting new people, having great employees, and many people giving us good reviews. We were not a big box store but we tried our best to have what people asked for, and we know we couldn't do it all.
It was time for a change, Andrew has started a job in Kingston now and is happy learning his new role and Kara is still working in heathcare.
Its time that we start enjoying our weekend time and doing more around our home. Johnathan was not interested in continuing on with the business, he is becoming a commercial airline pilot!✈️

So we decided to change it up.

Thanks to all who have helped us and worked for us over the years, we have always appreciated our friends, and our community.

We are still members of the community, you will see us about, but maybe have time to go fishing, gardening or just out enjoying our great area here in South Frontenac.
