The University of Windsor’s Toldo Lancer Centre needed a more reliable way to manage glare around the pool after ongoing issues with its motorized shades.

To provide a smart glare-control solution for this active aquatic facility, Windsor Window Imaging installed 3M™ Affinity 15 Sun Control Window Film on 55 windows surrounding the pool - approximately 2,000 sq. ft. of glass.

Because Feather Friendly bird-collision markers were already installed on the exterior, the film was applied to the interior so both systems could remain in place.

The three-person crew completed the installation over two days while coordinating around an active pool facility and working through access challenges created by vents and structural cross beams.

When removing the old film isn't an option, you get creative. 👇

This Walker Road storefront had severely failed window film trapped behind a wall built years after the film was installed.

The result?

Because there was no interior access to the glass, traditional film removal wasn't possible.

Our solution was to install a grey exterior vinyl matched to the existing window frames, completely hiding the damaged film and giving the storefront a clean, uniform appearance again.
