Meet Keith Fraser, Production Manager for the Wall Panels Division at Star Building Materials! Since joining Qualico in January 2025, Keith has driven innovation and efficiency in prefabricated wall panel production.

Keith played a key role in launching the division, using smarter design and precision engineering to cut framing time by 50%, improve quality, and deliver tailored solutions that ensure steady project progress with minimal site time.

A standout achievement is the Fireweed Project, where Keith’s four-person team completed 13 two-story homes for Kensington Homes in under four weeks. This incredible success highlights the impact of prefabrication, teamwork, and efficient project management.

Keith embodies Qualico’s mission of Helping Build Better Cities by fostering innovation and collaboration, ensuring families move into their homes faster.

In recognition of , our regional IT team led an E-Waste Recycling Day in the Winnipeg office.

The event helped raise awareness about the importance of recycling old electronics responsibly.

Many of the devices we no longer use — like old phones, cables, and outdated computers — contain valuable materials such as glass, plastic, gold, silver, copper, and palladium that can be recovered and reused.

Much of sustainability comes down to steady, practical decisions made every day by teams across our business units. Initiatives like this show how local action can contribute to a broader impact.

Donna Saunders is a trusted mentor to administrative staff and technicians. She is known as a collaborative, solutions-focused Service Manager who connects people, process, and technology to strengthen teams.
