Lions Club of Woodstock Ontario The Lions Club is always seeking to add members -- community-minded individuals who are willing to donate time and energy to great causes.

Lions Club of Woodstock is a very active service club with members volunteering to raise money for important local causes ranging from Christmas charities to Guide Dog programs, youth activities, student bursaries, and the Terry Fox Run. Annual membership is $200, but that includes a monthly dinner meeting at South Gate Centre (when we are able to meet in person).

Walk For Dog Guides on May 25.
Jennifer Harrington from the Lions Club of Woodstock was a guest on Heart FM's Dan & Marcie Show today (Dan Henry pictured) to promote the guide dogs program and an important fundraiser on May 25 (see poster). In the interview, Jenn talked about her necessity in having Tatum as an official assistant as Jenn is legally blind. Jenn is both a past president of the Lions Club of Woodstock and past chair of the Woodstock Accessibility Committee.

Coldest Night Of The Year
What a victory.
The Lions Club of Woodstock Ontario team was 16th among the 64 teams registered. CNOY in Woodstock raised over $159,000 (and still counting) for Operation Sharing. CNOY reached more than 106 % of its goal and included 362 registered walkers. The Woodstock Lions could have been higher in the standings as members also participated on other successful teams.
Big congrats goes to organizer Scott McKague of the Innerkip Lions and Innerkip member David Mair for fundraising efforts.
Operation Sharing is a multi-charitable group with The Inn overnight shelter, the Sharing Table, Food For Friends, Coats For Kids, The Christmas Place, and so much more. Operation Sharing is at College Ave Church at Wilson and Peel, while The Inn is nearby at Old St Paul's Church.
