ECHOJAZZ produces semi-finished, as well as finished products made out of EchoBoard®. EchoBoard® is a decorative panel substrate offering excellent acoustic performance with a felt-like finish. It is a direct response to ecological sustainability and environmental quality requirements facing contemporary interior design and fit out. EchoBoard® 12mm is made from 100% PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate

) which contains at least 60% post-consumer content and is fully recyclable. ECHOJAZZ offers a full stewardship program and will take back product at the end of its life as well as recycle uncontaminated EchoBoard® off cuts. It has been designed for recycling into another generation of product in collaboration with industry partners. ECHOJAZZ is committed to sustainable design and completing the loop in the EchoBoard® environmental story.

At the Art Deco Hotel Montana in Lucerne, our project partner Bellton AG | Raumakustik Schweiz integrated 𝗘𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗕𝗮𝗳𝗳𝗹𝗲® into the transparent roof structure, creating greater acoustic comfort without hiding the daylight, the view or the architecture.

𝗪𝗮𝗶𝘁…𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗮𝗰𝗼𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗸𝘀?

FlatPackBricks takes EchoBoard® off the wall and turns it into something completely unexpected: a modular building system that can be stacked, shifted and reimagined.

Developed by Timothy Leopold Widmer for an ECAL project, the concept shows what happens when acoustic material is treated not just as a surface, but as a playground for new spatial ideas.

𝗧𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀.

For Eidg. Forschungsanstalt WSL in Birmensdorf and SLF Schnee- & Lawinenforschung in Davos, Bureau Hindermann turned EchoBoard® into acoustic planters — soft room dividers that bring nature, structure and calm into research-driven workspaces.

That idea made them one of our ECHOJAZZ Project of the Year 2025 winners in Custom Solutions.

Because here, acoustic design doesn’t shout.
It zones gently.
It softens the room.
It supports focus, exchange and wellbeing.

A big thank you to Bureau Hindermann for this inspiring collaboration and for showing how beautifully acoustic materials can be reimagined.

At Cerutti Partner Architekten AG in Rothenburg, EchoBoard® has been transformed into a sculptural ceiling feature - inspired by natural forms and designed to bring structure, softness and acoustic comfort into the space.

The result feels like a canopy above the room: calm, organic and quietly powerful. Together with the soft lighting, the feature reads almost like a canopy in bloom.

With EchoLed Orbit® and EchoOrbit®, the ceiling becomes part of the spatial experience: soft light, acoustic comfort and a geometric design language inspired by origami.

The result is more than a functional office feature.
It is atmosphere.
It is focus.
It is acoustic design with visual impact.

𝗔 𝗰𝗲𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗲 𝗮 𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺.

For the BMW MINI Showroom in Stuttgart, acoustic design becomes architecture - shaping the space, carrying light and creating a calm centre within a bold brand environment.

The bespoke acoustic ceiling combines EchoBaffle® with elements of EchoGrid® in colour 185 Crocodile, forming a lightweight 50 m² grid made from 96 custom parts.

The result:
sound control, spatial identity and atmosphere - all in one floating architectural element.
