A new logistics center was built in Altenrhein to improve goods receiving and dispatch and to make warehouse processes more efficient. The building expands the existing complex and integrates into it in a coherent way. It combines functionality with modern architectural design, including a high-quality façade, and strengthens the overall performance of the logistics site.

Petrol-anthracite painted plastic housing for cancer research
At our plant in Altenrhein, we manufacture high-quality plastic components that play a crucial role in the development of groundbreaking medical technologies. A prime example of this precision work is Lunaphore’s COMET™ platform for automated hyperplex immunofluorescence staining of medical tissue sections.
This innovative analysis system makes a significant contribution to cancer research and sets new standards with its advanced technology.

Lunaphore’s COMET™ is used to spatially analyze biomarker profiles in tissue samples. The platform helps to investigate and characterize biological processes in healthy and diseased tissue (such as tumors). The underlying technology allows biomarkers to be visualized in a single tissue sample, where traditionally dozens of samples were required, all within a fully automated workflow. This enables researchers to analyze the function and behavior of different cell types and groups in unprecedented detail. Parallel sample processing saves time, delivers highly precise results, and thus facilitates the identification of personalized treatment options for patients.
