🌕One Moon, One Family: CNBM Overseas Teams Celebrate Mid-Autumn Festival

As the Mid-Autumn moon rises over the Sahara, the Gulf of Guinea and Central Asia, our teams across the globe are celebrating the festival of reunion in their own special ways.

✍️CNBM Tunisia: Chinese and local colleagues tried their hands at calligraphy and battled it out in a friendly table tennis match — a beautiful blend of art and sport.

🥮CNBM PNG: sharing “Mid-Autumn limited” mooncakes, local colleagues discovered the traditions of moon-gazing and family reunion behind this festive treat — one mooncake, a cultural ambassador.

🏃Sinoma Cement Nigeria: rope-skipping contests, a watermelon-eating race and ring toss games brought three teams together — laughter louder than applause.

☕CNBM Nigeria New Materials & Manufacturing: co-hosted a Mid-Autumn gathering themed “Full Moon over West Africa”, uniting hearts across the company.

📷CNBM South Africa: the “Full Moon, Warm Homes” photo campaign gathered family stories from Chinese and local colleagues alike — one shared feeling of reunion, across languages and seas.

🤝Central Asia Beixin: welcomed teachers and students from a presidential school in Uzbekistan to tour the plant, taste mooncakes and experience Mid-Autumn traditions — friendship renewed along the Silk Road.

🌕 One moon, one family.

In 2016, CNBM people came together as “one family” to share the Mid-Autumn moon for the first time. Ten years on, we’ve gathered these moonlight moments from around the world. ⬇️

🇿🇲 Above the industrial park in Zambia, the lights of the project site shine alongside the moon. Sinoma Energy Conservation’s integrated energy solution, combining solar and waste heat, helps the park run on clean, self-generated power. Mountains and seas apart, yet we share the same moon; green energy links our hearts, and clean power lights up the bright future of China-Africa cooperation.

🇨🇿 At the MOKRA project site in the Czech Republic, the preheater foundation was successfully poured. Looking up at the moon, its gentle light fell over the construction site far from home, and into the hearts of every team member working far from home.

🇺🇸 An orange moon hung high above Jushi’s production base in Richland County, South Carolina, lighting up the night. Across mountains and seas, CNBM people continue to work with dedication and homesickness in their hearts, bringing world-class fiberglass expertise to every production line. Through hard work, they celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival together.

🇧🇩 At our 600 T/D float glass engineering project in Bangladesh, the site glowed under lights as bright as the moon. In the moonlight over this overseas site, the team worked on at the furnace bricklaying site, keeping the project stays on track.

A decade of shared moonlight, from China to the world. The moon in these photos may be full or crescent, but whenever we look up, we are all under the same night sky.

🏜️ In the Egyptian desert, a group of children sang “Chengdu”.

Recently, Sinoma CDI Egypt held its , with more than 150 local employees and their families joining the event. The “Panda” youth reporters from Chengdu TV also visited the open day.

Engineers shared stories behind Egypt’s mega-projects with the children—the world’s largest cement plant cluster ever built simultaneously at a single site, the longest-span double-wing swing railway bridge, and largest floating roof tanks... Behind every world record lies the joint effort of Chinese and Egyptian engineers working side by side.

During the event, Chinese and Egyptian children performed together, sang Chinese songs, and exchanged gifts. Egyptian employees and their children also tried their hand at painting folding fans and recited “Spring Dawn”, experiencing the charm of Chinese culture through brushstrokes and poetry.

🌍 I believe great engineering connects not just landscapes, but hearts. 💚

🌏 Jushi Egypt celebrated its 2026 by the Red Sea — a gathering made for families.

🏭 Children visited the automated glass fibre production line with their parents and seeing firsthand what their parents do every day. When they learned that the site is Africa’s largest glass fibre production base, with products exported to Europe, the Americas and the Middle East, their eyes lit up with pride. One Egyptian employee said, “My family is proud of me. That means more
than any bonus.”

🎨 After the tour, parent-child performances, team games and painting activities brought the afternoon to life. Children sat beside their parents, painting their favourite patterns, while the room was alive with laughter.

💚 I believe our families’ pride are the best reward.

On August 28, Sinoma (Handan) Thailand held its and New Building Materials Promotion Event. Partners, local employees and their families, media, and community representatives were invited to visit the company.

🎬 Guests watched the corporate video to learn about the company’s development in engineering construction, operations, and new building materials.

🏪 At the product exhibition hall, green building materials such as fiber cement boards, gypsum boards, and power-generating glass were on display. The team walked guests through the properties, applications, and environmental benefits of each product using physical samples and case studies. Guests were keen to learn more and engaged in in-depth discussions on product applications.

🤝 An Open Day is not just about products, it’s a dialogue of trust.

🌍On Aug. 22, the at BNBM Building Materials Central Asia brought employees and their families together. Family members and children visited the company, getting a closer look at where their loved ones work every day.

🏭 Guests toured the product exhibition area to learn about the company and CNBM Group’s range of products, including glass fiber. They also took part in a variety of fun activities, including plaster figurine painting, lacquer fan art and Chinese calligraphy. These activities brought plenty of joy for both adults and children. The children also took center stage with a dance performance that drew warm applause.
