On the afternoon of June 15th, a China-Europe freight train fully loaded with 110 standard containers of machinery, auto parts, household appliances, and other goods slowly departed from the Yiwu West Railway Station, heading towards Duisburg, Germany. This marks the successful launch of the first scheduled China-Europe freight train (Yiwu-Duisburg) from the Yangtze River Delta region.
This is a significant step in strengthening the logistics connection between the Yangtze River Delta region and Europe. The operation of this train not only improves international logistics efficiency but also promotes trade and economic cooperation between China and Europe. By adhering to a fixed schedule, this train route will provide more stable transportation services for businesses, further boosting the economic vitality of the region.
