In today's world, the industry of "boats and crafts" and their related equipment holds a significant market share, showing great potential to rival its "big brother" - the traditional shipbuilding industry. Yachts, in particular, are rapidly emerging due to their maneuverability, comfort, and high-speed transportation capabilities. For consumers, yachts are high-end consumer goods for water recreation, commonly used for private consumption internationally. In developed countries such as North America, there is one yacht for every 15 people on average. For producers and operators, yachts are products with high added value and high profits. Due to the labor-intensive nature of the yacht industry, China has good conditions and a solid foundation for developing this industry.
China is a country with numerous islands, criss-crossing rivers, and scattered lakes. It boasts a 18,000-kilometer coastline, over 6,500 islands, 380,000 square kilometers of territorial waters, and more than 90,000 lakes. Additionally, it is home to four major river systems: the Yangtze River, the Yellow River, the Pearl River, and the Heilongjiang River. Such a uniquely endowed aquatic environment fosters a huge demand for the boat and watercraft market. The demand for public yachts and water amusement facilities, primarily for sightseeing, fitness, entertainment, and water sports, has seen a rapid growth. The private yacht market has also been launched, with promising prospects. The demand for high-speed boats in the domestic market is booming and will continue to develop. The demand for various official and public-private boats in departments and units such as customs, public security, armed police, fishery administration, environmental protection, aquaculture, flood control and disaster relief has shown an upward trend, and the purchasing power is strong. Currently, 50% of the 910,000 fishing boats need to be updated and improved, which will represent a huge market demand.
