A “Vertical Valley” Growing Within the City | Huaide Wanli Business Center

Within the pulse of the city, a new mixed-use landmark is quietly taking shape.

Huaide Wanli Business Center redefines the conventional boundaries of commercial and residential development. Inspired by nature, the project integrates refined retail, quality living, and urban public space into a cohesive and immersive environment — a “vertical valley” embedded within the city fabric.

During the day, the architecture presents a light, transparent, and layered presence, seamlessly woven into its surroundings while establishing a highly recognizable urban frontage.
As night falls, the façade gradually reveals its rhythmic contours through layered lighting, transforming the building from a functional space into a memorable urban landmark.

At the core of the project is its distinctive valley curtain wall system.
Custom-shaped aluminum panels and a carefully structured façade allow natural light to pe*****te deep into the interior, while soft reflections across the surface create a warm, dynamic visual expression. The curtain wall moves beyond enclosure, becoming an architectural interface that balances performance, artistry, and urban identity.

More than a place of consumption, Huaide Wanli Business Center encourages strolling, lingering, and interaction. Public spaces are filled with flowing natural light, while residential areas offer a calm transition from the city’s energy to everyday serenity — reflecting the project’s philosophy of integrated living.

In the Red Sea Airport project, we were challenged to fabricate 40mm thick double-curved aluminum panels, each with unique geometry and nearly one-ton weight, with no industry precedent.

Key risks included forming rebound, equipment limits, coating line capacity, and high-risk lifting verification.

We introduced a multi-point hydraulic forming system and, together with R&D specialists, pushed the operating pressure to 8000 kPa, beyond its previous application range.
During mock-up testing, a lifting failure occurred due to uneven stress distribution. We addressed it through root-cause analysis and an optimized lifting solution, which was fully presented to the client.

The final mock-up and lifting methodology were approved by the architect, client, and main contractor, enabling the project to move forward successfully.

This project demonstrates our capability to transform complex engineering risks into reliable and executable solutions.

The façade of Huaide Wanli Business Center is more than an exterior — it is an architectural interface where design, technology, and sustainability converge.

Inspired by the concept of a “Flowing Green Valley,” the building redefines the conventional glass box through its curtain wall system. Custom-shaped aluminum panels and the valley curtain wall together create a layered, three-dimensional façade that continuously responds to light and the rhythm of the city.

Enabled by parametric design and intelligent construction technologies, the façade system achieves high-precision ex*****on while integrating passive energy-saving strategies, enhancing spatial comfort and reducing environmental impact.

The Riyadh Metro is one of the largest transportation projects in the world. In the initial stage, the metro system is expected to transport 1.2 million passengers per day. After it enters full operation, its capacity will reach 3.6 million passengers per day.
The subway lines of Riyadh subway stations connect important urban areas including the capital's core commercial district, cultural landmarks and residential areas, such as King Khalid International Airport and the financial district. They have shortened the space-time distance between different regions of the city and enhanced the overall operation efficiency of the city.

Situated within the core terminal cluster of Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) — a major North American aviation hub — the Delta Sky Way Headhouse represents a multi-year, $2.3 billion capital investment project.
The construction of this project utilized custom-designed perforated aluminum panels produced by ALTOP. These panels feature exceptional properties such as high-temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, efficient light transmission and heat dissipation, as well as fireproof and moisture-resistant capabilities, seamlessly integrating aesthetic appeal with practical functionality. The porous structure of the material further contributes to effective noise reduction, creating a comfortable and tranquil environment within the airport interior.

ALTOP Completed Project Display Series | Melbourne's Most Advanced Biomedical Research Center - ACMD!

St Vincent's Hospital in Melbourne spent $206 million to build a brand new ACMD center for professional research and development, realizing more possibilities and leading the hospital to become a leader in the medical industry.

The exterior facade of the ACMD building is composed of glass curtain walls and aluminum panel curtain walls, cleverly referencing the crystal structure related to ACMD biomedical research. Utilize the diversity of panels to achieve a 3D stereoscopic, exquisite and transparent effect.

In order to better reflect the three-dimensional effect of the crystal structure, the exterior curtain wall is divided into four types of panels, and the tilt angle, height, and material of the panels are all different, making it extremely difficult. ALTOP provides these 4 types of complex customized curtain wall panels, perfectly presenting design effects with excellent technology.
