Fast on the bench. But across concrete floors? 🏢

In this Ra-20 development project, the first FLRC configuration couldn’t cover the required path within the project’s power limit.

The team switched to LoRa and reworked how the two devices send data, confirm reception and recover after a lost connection.

What would you build with voice control—a desk robot, a talking sensor, or something else?

Submit your idea to the Ai-Thinker XiaoAn AI Voice DIY Challenge. You don’t need a finished project to apply.

Five overseas developers will be selected. After selection, participants buy an eligible XiaoAn AI board and build their project.

Bring a complete enclosure, open-source code, build instructions, and a demo video. Selected participants who meet all requirements and pass review receive USD 60 + an additional XiaoAn AI development board. Featured projects earn USD 20 extra.

Completed project deadline: October 15, 2026, 23:59 UTC.

If you could make one device listen and talk, what would you build?

Ai-Thinker’s XiaoAn AI Voice DIY Challenge is now open to overseas developers.

Submit an idea for a talking robot, voice-controlled home device, smart speaker, talking sensor, or an original voice-enabled project of your own.

This is an application-based activity with five spots. Selected participants who complete the required open-source project and pass review will receive:

• USD 60
• Another XiaoAn AI development board
• Free international shipping for the bonus board

Featured projects receive an additional USD 20.

Project submission deadline: October 15, 2026, 23:59 UTC.

Great to see Ai-Thinker represented at the LoRa Global Ecosystem Forum during IOTE 2026 in Shenzhen.

Our R&D leader, Sky Xu, joined the forum to share Ai-Thinker’s work on end-to-cloud integration and full-stack LoRa IoT solutions.

For us, the discussion was not only about wireless modules. It was also about how devices, gateways and cloud platforms can work together as a more complete deployment path.

Thank you to Semtech for bringing the LoRa community together, and to everyone who joined the session and exchanged ideas with our team.
