In China, the top buyers of mini excavators are not distributors or traders, but professional engineering contractors. They undertake construction projects inaccessible to large excavators, such as pipeline laying in the ancient districts of Suzhou, water pipe emergency repairs in residential communities of Guangzhou, and heating pipeline renovation under sidewalks in Beijing, all of which are tight-site working scenarios.
From 2022 to 2026, we have maintained in-depth cooperation with these end customers and summed up three rigid criteria for their equipment selection:
1.Reliability under frequent start-stop conditions: Compatible with buckets of 0.025–0.04 m³. The engine can withstand up to 180 start-stop cycles per day and maintains stable performance during long-duration high-frequency operations without shutdowns.
2.Localized maintenance support: Certified service stations must be available within a 150-kilometer radius of the job site to guarantee rapid response to breakdowns.
3.Flexible attachment adaptation: A variety of attachments including breakers, hydraulic shears and auger drills can be quickly installed without structural modification to the main frame.
It is these rigorous on-site requirements that have driven the development of the PNY-ME-12B and PNY-ME-35R models. Customers choose these machines not as a low-cost alternative, but as tailor-made engineering solutions for confined-space construction.
