What should a buyer check when a terrazzo package combines flat panels and curved components?

How does a rectangular limestone slab become a set of custom curved components?

These two factory photographs show the process with Moonlight Beige Limestone, also known in parts of the market as Myra Beige Limestone.

The slab is placed on the waterjet table and cut along a layout combining straight lines, large outer radii and smaller concave curves. The separated pieces retain the stone’s natural cream-beige background and fine fossil and shell-like detail.

For a project buyer, the next step is not simply asking whether waterjet cutting is available. The more important questions are:

• How will the radii and critical dimensions be checked?
• Are the edge requirements included in the drawing?
• Do repeated pieces match when placed together?
• Will each component be numbered in installation order?
• Is a factory dry layout required before packing?

The photographs prove the processing stage and the resulting geometry. They do not by themselves prove dimensional acceptance, completed dry layout or a specific final application.
