For this Paris apartment, architect and designer Lucile Boullié reimagined this transitional space as both functional and architectural, creating a bespoke entrance piece that enhances the quality and flow of the interior.

Fabricated in 𝗛𝗜𝗠𝗔𝗖𝗦 𝗔𝗹𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗪𝗵𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗦𝟬𝟮𝟴, the seamless solid surface brings purity, durability and precision to the design. Its smooth, non-porous finish allows for elegant detailing while supporting everyday practicality in a high-use area of the home.

A project where thoughtful design transforms an often-overlooked space into a defining feature of the apartment.

We are delighted to share that five HIMACS Terrazzo colours have received the prestigious 𝗥𝗲𝗱 𝗗𝗼𝘁 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 in the Product Design category. On one of Amsterdam’s historic canals, this contemporary houseboat reimagines life on the water through minimalist design and carefully crafted details.

From the canal-facing kitchen in 𝗛𝗜𝗠𝗔𝗖𝗦 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗺 to the bespoke bathroom basins and precision-made exterior window frames in 𝗛𝗜𝗠𝗔𝗖𝗦 𝗣𝗲𝗮𝗻𝘂𝘁 𝗕𝘂𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿, every element was designed to combine durability, hygiene and timeless aesthetics for this unique floating home.

A throwback to a beautiful day in Utrecht ✨

Together with our partner Baars & Bloemhoff we invited architects, designers and industry professionals to experience the new HIMACS collection and to explore new possibilities in surface design.

It was a wonderful opportunity to connect, share ideas and see how versatile HIMACS can be – from inspiring conversations and creative applications to live thermoforming demos and hands-on moments.

At Hôtel Maison Philippe Le Bon in Dijon, the bathroom becomes a quiet moment of refinement. EK Decoration reimagines the vanity as a luminous focal point, elevating the guest experience through subtle elegance and precision.

The backlit vanity top, fabricated in 𝗛𝗜𝗠𝗔𝗖𝗦 𝗠𝟳𝟬𝟮 𝗔𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗿𝗮 𝗙𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘁, reveals soft veining and delicate translucency. Light diffuses through the seamless surface, enhancing depth while ensuring hygiene, durability and effortless maintenance.
