Insulation Mortar: The “All-Rounder” of Building Energy Efficiency
Today, we introduce the “star performer” in the field of building energy efficiency—insulation mortar! Insulation mortar is made from lightweight materials as aggregate, cement as binder, and modified additives. It is fire-resistant and non-combustible, and can be widely applied in residential, public buildings, and various other venues. It can even serve as a fire-resistant barrier to enhance building fire safety standards!
Its performance is truly “all-round”: excellent thermal and chemical stability, matching the lifespan of building walls; easy to apply with low overall costs; suitable for various wall substrates, effectively preventing thermal bridges; environmentally friendly, non-toxic, and harmless; high strength, resistant to hollows and cracks; superior thermal performance with strong heat storage capacity; mold-resistant, and highly economical. During construction, first clean the substrate and moisten the wall surface. Apply a bonding agent, then mix the insulation mortar according to the specified ratio. Apply in multiple layers, followed by an anti-cracking mortar, install the mesh fabric, and finally apply another layer of anti-cracking mortar. Cure for 2–3 days before proceeding with subsequent construction.
