⚽ The World Cup may be over, but pitch maintenance never stops 🌱

After the final whistle, the lights go out and the stands empty. But the turf still needs the same thing it always does: precise, consistent care.

In professional sports field maintenance, regular soil moisture monitoring and documentation play an important role. Reliable measurement data helps optimize irrigation, avoid overwatering or drought stress, and support a healthier, more uniform playing surface over time.

For this task, STEP Systems offers a range of reliable soil moisture meters designed for professional use, including models with data logging options for better documentation and long-term monitoring.

Because a great pitch matters long after match day.

🌱 Challenging climates and difficult soils require smarter horticultural solutions

During Agritechnica Asia & HortEx 2026, our founder Harald Braungardt took part in a panel discussion on “Equipment for Horticulture”, focusing on how modern technologies can help growers improve quality and yields under demanding conditions.

The discussion brought together valuable perspectives from across the industry and highlighted the growing importance of precise monitoring.

Thank you to everyone who visited our booth and joined the conversations during the exhibition. 🙌

🌱 We recently joined a meeting of the PhytoFuture network - an initiative focused on plants used in cosmetics, medicinal applications, food production, and other high-value industries.

For us at STEP Systems, this field is especially interesting because companies working with plant-derived products depend on one key factor: consistency. Whether it is biomass, active compounds such as C*D, or overall plant quality, reliable and repeatable production requires precise monitoring, measurement, and Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA).

We had a very productive meeting with many interesting discussions and already developed the first project ideas together. We are looking forward to the next steps and future collaborations. 🌍
