Architecture begins with an idea. 💡
And becomes unforgettable through material, depth and surface.

For the new assembly hall of GUK-Falzmaschinen GmbH & Co. KG in Germany, the starting point was the architecture of the existing building, reminiscent of stacked sheets of paper. From this inspiration, a new façade concept was created that translates the company’s technical expertise into a distinctive architectural language.

Developed and visualised in the ALUCOBOND® Facademaker, the design transformed smooth white surfaces into a dynamic woven pattern of ALUCOBOND® A2 spectra panels in White Gold (919), reflecting the characteristic zig-zag fold created by GUK’s folding machines. Depending on how the light falls, the surface reveals a subtle shimmering effect. ✨

The result: a modern and representative façade where form and function merge seamlessly.

Investing in the masters of tomorrow 🎓🔧

At ALUCOBOND®, sharing expertise means investing in the people who will shape tomorrow’s façades.

We were pleased to welcome master craftspeople in training from Handwerkskammer Konstanz, the regional Chamber of Crafts, for an ALUCOBOND® training session.

Across two dates, participants from the sheet metal, cladding and metalworking trades gained insights into ALUCOBOND®, our systems and processing possibilities. From theory to hands-on practice, they also built an ALUCOBOND® cassette as part of the training.

A big thank you to all participants. We are already looking forward to welcoming the next groups of future masters. 🤗
