Every two years, the INTERNATIONAL HARDWARE FAIR puts the spotlight on the most innovative ideas in the hardware industry. From March 3 to 6, 2026, it will be that time again: exhibitors from all over the world will be showcasing their new products from the fields of tools and accessories, fastening and joining technology as well as construction and DIY supplies in the Cologne exhibition halls. As an international platform for industry-internal exchange, the trade fair is always an important trend barometer for DIY and home improvement.

EISENWORKSHOP 2026 delivered a strong premiere with real impact.

Across three days, creators from different trades demonstrated their skills in hands-on workshops and gave practical insights into their work. The format combined real application with direct exchange and offered a new perspective on how the industry can be experienced.

It created space for interaction, inspiration and valuable conversations, making it a strong addition to the overall event experience.

After four days defined by innovation, strategic dialogue and real market momentum, one conclusion stands out: Cologne is the global meeting point of the hardware industry.

In 2028, we will return and shape “what’s next” with manufacturers, retailers, platforms and professionals.

Best of EISENWARENMESSE 2026

EISENWARENMESSE 2026 has come to an end — and it was four days full of innovation, exchange and inspiration.

With around 2,500 companies from 53 countries, the global hardware industry came together in Cologne to discover new products, discuss trends and strengthen partnerships.

We celebrated the winners of the EISENaward 2026 powered by ZHH, explored industry trends at the EISENforum and gained valuable insights into topics such as Artificial Intelligence, e-commerce and the future of retail.

A special highlight was the premiere of the EISENworkshop, where creators demonstrated tools from our exhibitors, techniques and live projects, sharing their expertise directly with visitors.

At the DIY Boulevard, exhibitors showcased product innovations exactly as they will appear in tomorrow’s retail environments.

Most importantly, the fair once again showed the strength of this community — bringing together exhibitors, partners and visitors from around the world.

The EISENworkshop continued to deliver hands-on craftsmanship on Day 2 and 3 of EISENWARENMESSE.

After the first day already featured creators such as Mara Pischl, Laurin Bock, Empoeirados and Jasmine Gurney, the workshop area remained full of activity. Jasmine returned together with Dirk Hobein, Ben Berger, Sophia Kuhlmann, Mike Unger and René Lang, who demonstrated their projects live and shared practical insights with visitors.

Together they turned the workshop area into a space for inspiration, exchange and real tools in action.
