A new retention basin is taking shape at Janské Lázně ski resort, Czechia. 🚀
Right below the resort’s base station, a 15,000 m³ retention basin is currently under construction. It will secure the water supply for technical snowmaking, enabling coverage of up to 6 km of slopes right at the start of the ski season. 🎿 Plus, the basin’s surface will also provide parking for 80 vehicles.
The team from Stavirezek is relying on Doka Czechia’s solutions - tailored to meet the complex geometry and alpine conditions on site.
Solutions used:
👉 Framax Xlife wall formwork - for fast forming with an excellent concrete finish
👉 Column formwork KS Xlife - ideal for precise and safe column casting even in variable terrain
👉 Load-bearing tower Staxo 100 - combined with Dokaflex for high load-bearing capacity and flexibility in horizontal structures
👉 Ringlock scaffolding and stair towers - providing safe and fast access
When it really matters, our solutions make it work - and this project is a perfect example of Doka Czechia supporting complex construction under challenging conditions. 💪
