Thought I would share our recent find, a gunmetal mitre plane that was made by VARVILL of York, Michael VARVILL worked out of Micklegate 1796 and then Feasgate 1818 before the company became VARVILL & Son. So this was an early piece of his plane-making work. A real beauty.
