I just wanted to say a big thank you for all the great reviews left on my FB page by since I started out a few months ago. It's very satisfying to have people coming back for the 2nd, 3rd, and in some cases 4th time already. . There is no better display of customer satisfaction than return business.
From minor tweaks to full restoration I'm at your service. I'm away for a couple of weeks now but am contactable and making appointments for October. Cheers.

Another one that gets a new lease of life!! I’ve not had one of these in before. Owned since new in around 82 this oldie had spent the last 6 years or so in the loft. A really nice quality guitar, and rightly getting collectible now.
A fret dress and setup, a new top nut and a good going over and we’ve got a very happy customer....

One of my recent challenges was to get this very tired 70s Arbiter Les Paul back into a playable condition for the owner who has had it 40 years. New top nut, frets levelled and polished, new 3 way switch and electrics refurbished. Some new plastics and a setup. I was surprised how well it played and sounded.. Those DiMarzio pickups kick ass!! 🤘

Have you got a guitar you’ve fallen out of love with? For whatever reason, sitting in a corner gathering dust? Or is your regular guitar just not playing as well as it used to? Not got the confidence or equipment to attempt maintenance or repair work?
For many years I have carried out setup, maintenance and repair work on guitars and basses, mainly for friends and colleagues. I have been encouraged through positive feedback to promote myself to a wider audience. Calling on my engineering background in F1 and with training from highly regarded Luthiers such as Robbie Gladwell and James Collins my intention is to offer a personal service on a small scale.
I specialise in fret dressing and setup work. I can also do electrical repairs and modifications as well as small cosmetic repairs and full refurbishments

Father and Sons Strats.....both treated to new pick guards, cavity screening and new scratchplate, Gilmour switching and a setup. The Red Mexican had new noiseless pickups. The Black USA had at some point had it frets levelled flat! So a fret dress, recrown and polish made it feel hugely better.

A very tired and abused Mexican Telecaster that had not been played for many years was given a new lease of life with a full strip down, fret dress, cavity screening, fitting of a new humbucker to the customers carbon fibre scratchplate with a push/push coil tap on the tone control. Everything cleaned, tightened checked and adjusted and finally given a full setup. Lives to fight another day despite the battle scars.......
