“I was virtually paralysed by the end. The experience was so real, it was chilling.”

Our simulation immersed users in the White House Situation Room, placing them under extreme stress to understand how officials would respond under pressure in the event of a nuclear attack.

We partnered with Balfour Beatty to create a virtual planning room where colleagues could view detailed scale models of major construction sites.

Drone and LiDAR technology produced accurate, finely detailed recreations of complex environments, built using Unreal Engine 4.

Multiple users shared the virtual space, each visualised as an avatar, with headset microphones enabling seamless communication.

By dropping a pin onto the model, any individual could beam down to the surface and be presented with a full-scale view of the site.

When ARC asked Holosphere to support the launch of its ground-breaking Vector electric bike, it was obvious we had a shared desire to use new technologies to maximum effect.

We got to work building a virtual reality test drive to showcase the Vector’s world-first Human Machine Interface, Heads-Up Display helmet and connected haptic jacket, syncing the hardware to specially commissioned sit-on plinths that mirrored the bike’s size and profile.

To give potential customers the opportunity to build their ideal bike, we developed proprietary 3D projection mapping technology to generate a spatial AR 1:1 scale model of the Vector.

The event proved the perfect showcase, not just for the Vector, but for our ability to deliver far beyond the content. This was a complete, event-ready system, that could be run simply by ARC ambassadors.

Our Forest of Serenity project has been used to transport patients in hospice care to immersive, calming environments, managing pain without medication.

Now finding a wider role in palliative care, it is also being used for emotional and psychological pain management.

VR is making huge changes to the way we think about training. During our project with Phillips 66 we created a bespoke, life-size, life-like training environment for site induction.

To date, several thousand staff and contractors have been inducted, in what has become one of the world’s most intensively used VR training facilities.

“We wanted to set a world standard for safety training, and that’s what Holosphere delivered. The experience is so realistic and powerful – you can see the impact it has on our people and our record. It’s a total game-changer.”
