We are delighted to announce that a new Commercial Director will be joining the A.Proctor Group Ltd. on the 13th April 2026, marking another important step in the company’s continued growth across the construction and building materials sectors.

Barbara Massie brings a wealth of experience, a strong commercial skillset, and a proven track record of driving growth. She will work closely with the Board to deliver sustainable commercial growth, strengthen customer and supply chain relationships, and support the ongoing development of the Proctor Group’s people, products, and market presence.

Barbara joins us from Kirkwood Timber Frame, where she held the position of Business Development Director for over two years. Prior to this, she held senior Director-level roles with Travis Perkins and NorDan, giving her an exceptional breadth of industry knowledge and an impressive range of transferable skills, having developed significant expertise in merchanting, manufacturing, and the wider construction supply chain.

Ashley officially joined us this week after meeting the wider team at last week’s sales meeting.

Ashley joins us from ACS Stainless Steel Fixings, where he spent the past five years in a technical specification role, developing both in-depth product knowledge and valuable commercial insight.
Based in Leeds, Ashley will cover the Midlands, Manchester, and surrounding areas — supporting customers from project inception through to aftercare and helping deliver high-performing building envelope solutions.

By studying how these natural surfaces manage exposure, airflow, and moisture interaction 💨💧, our R&D team has translated similar principles into a next-generation membrane concept—designed to perform while remaining visually undetectable within the build-up 👀✨.

The A.Proctor Group Ltd. are proud to work with other Scottish suppliers to support Social Bite in delivering new supported village communities for people experiencing homelessness.

Founded in 2012, Social Bite is a social business and charity dedicated to empowering people to transform their lives and leave homelessness behind for good. Its pioneering Social Bite Village model provides safe, supported housing designed to help residents rebuild confidence, stability, and independence — with plans for replication across multiple UK sites by 2026.

Working with modular construction specialists EcoSystems Technologies, Proctor Group supplied membrane products and accessories free of charge to help deliver high-quality, durable homes that support long-term outcomes.
