Last week a couple of members of staff were able to help free a lorry who’d got stuck in the snow and ice. As a sign of gratitude that same driver dropped these off this morning as a thank you. It just goes to show that small acts of kindness mean a lot to people 😋

❄️Snow Update❄️
Following on from the heavy snow fall yesterday and overnight temperatures plummeting we have taken the difficult decision to not open today. We came to this decision with the interest of safety for both staff and customers in mind and taking into account the amount of ice covering the yard and it’s access points.
Ordinary opening times will resume on Monday and we appreciate your understanding in this matter. Stay safe!

❄️Snow Update❄️
We have now managed to clear our top yard and the majority of the snow has been cleared and the ground salted. The bottom is not yet cleared though but will be in due course. If you do come in be careful on Croxstalls Avenue however as it is still very snowy and slushy!

As of today we will be keeping smokeless coal briquettes at our depot. As well as being smokeless they are long burning and offer a high heat output. Our coal is suitable for a variety of closed appliances such as multi fuel stoves and all manner of different fireplaces and duel fuel burners.
These are being sold at £11.97 all in for a 20Kg bag so grab some just in time for winter!! ❄️
