We spend so much time showing you what we’ve made and how we make it, but here’s a space for the inspiration.

As a die hard period property fan, getting inspiration and researching light switches, electrical hardware, lighting and decor all in its original form feels like an absolute treat.

Speaking to the staff at Dunster Castle, we found that a lot of the decor had been updated in the 70’s (music to our ears!)

A finish that’s sharp and refined, yet rustic and entirely individual. A steel plate, hammered by hand to give a dimpled, mottled effect and then powdercoated in black for a long lasting finish and shine that will pack a punch and sit proudly in your space!

Perfect for modern and period homes. Can be paired with a toggle, dimmer or rocker switch. Using our own technology and machinery, we can cut these plates to suit any space or switch gear of your choice, meaning we can work to your price point rather than dictate it - something that can come in very handy when you’re navigating the twists and turns of a complicated renovation project!

After working on countless projects involving period properties, being overly passionate about heritage restorations and constantly looking for ways to keep period accurate electrical fittings and hardware alive, we consider ourselves somewhat qualified to deliver this series.

So here’s part two, featuring an exciting new finish on a rako control plate - hammered brass, an all time favourite of ours and a finish that keeps aging and adding character for years to come.

An acrylic plate cut using our laser machine and paired with the highest quality toggle switch.

When told us about the mural they were painting with their new collection, we were so excited to send this switch! The shallow wall cavity added an extra challenge and so we also sent over a wooden wall mount to ensure the guys didn’t have to further dig out the walls. painted the backing card and collar to ensure the switch fit seamlessly and we are completely in awe of the finished look 🙌🏻
