Big things are happening behind the scenes at Surfed Out Way Station… 🌊☀️
We’re grafting hard getting the new space ready – and it’s all starting to come together nicely. From fresh builds to final touches, it is shaping up to be something really special.
It’s not just a surf shop… we’ve got a barber, tattoo studio, and coffee spot all under one roof. A proper lifestyle hub for the community 🙌
And yes… you might spot the old man out in the sun making the most of it – suns out, guns out 😆💪
We’re aiming for a soft opening on April 14th, with the big one lined up for May 16th as part of Braunton Beat 🎶
Live music from plus a DJ set to keep things going – and best of all… it’s a free night of fun and entertainment for everyone.
Can’t wait to welcome you all in. Watch this space 👀

Progress Update – New Surfed Out Spot 🌊
The build is coming together nicely at our new home at Ocean Village, Chivenor 🤙
Straight over Chivenor Roundabout towards Braunton, then left at the next roundabout (1st exit) onto Tinever Road — you’ll find us next to Ashford Farm Shop.
✔️ Mezzanine in
✔️ Floors laid & stained
✔️ Office + tattoo studio taking shape with Mike Stock Tattoos
✔️ Cladding going up on the The Worx Coffee Bar side
✔️ Tiki roof heading to the coffee bar thanks to British Surf Museum
✔️ Tree trimmed and now supporting the treehouse above the office
✔️ Toilet & shower block structure up
We’ve had loads of visits already and all the feedback’s been mega — locals and travelling surfers alike 🙌
Anyone’s welcome to swing by and check progress. This is a community space and the more love it gets, the more it’ll grow and thrive.

Yesterday we featured the Aipa killswitch, today the South Coast Long Fish which in a similar sort of way is a proper mid-length suitable for all abilities and variety of waves. Ideal again if you do not want a longer board but still want that ease of paddle and ease of catching from ripple to solid waves. Shaped by Ian Chisholm himself and imported direct from Australia... a very rare find from a legendary world renowned shaper. - Glenn
