Dear All,
Syd's funeral, this Tuesday, 25th August , 1pm at St Mary’s church , Alveley
As a fitting tribute to a man who can only be described as a true legend, the family would like to invite fellow fishermen to give Grandpa a final guard of honour. We ask that you line both sides of the driveway, dressed in your fishing attire and holding your fishing rods, as he makes his final journey.
We would be truly grateful for as many people as possible to join us in honouring Syd's memory.
Please note:
Arrival time: No later than 12:25 pm
Dress code: Fishing attire
Location: Please line both sides of the driveway and please park on the front field leaving the driveway clear .
Thank you for helping us give Syd the send-off he so richly deserves.

❗️❗️Poolehall fisheries ❗️❗️
From January 1st 2026!!
Poolehall will be a members only fishery for the Heron and Abbey lakes - There will be no walk on lakes .

How it will work
1. Each lake will be limited to 30 members on each lake
2. Your membership will run for 12 months and will be on one of EITHER the Heron or Abbey
3. The membership is for you and you only it is non transferable.
4. We will still allow one non fishing guest only per membership at £5 per night.
5. Each member will be emailed a membership form where you must agree to abide by the rules and have the correct equipment to fish the chosen lake and your full details to be given at time of your membership.
6. The booking system will still be the same that you call and payment in full at time of booking of your dates
7. There will be a reduced peg layout.

The cost
12 months Membership will cost £50
Cost per peg per 24hrs is £30.
Membership will be done on a first come basis and to apply you must message Charlotte on WhatsApp 07929371046.
