Pickling onions are in season, and we've got the jars.
Preserving jars, lids from 25p, wax discs, jam pot covers and labels, all on the shelf.
Onions, shallots and pickling vinegar are next door at L.E. Riddiford, so you can get the whole job done in one trip.
Start them this week and they'll be ready for Christmas.
What are you making this year, pickles or chutney?

A lovely little job this week! 😊

Delivered some bits to a 92-year-old local lady who couldn’t get to the shop, because of scaffolding blocking access, then fitted and tested her new wireless doorbell while I was there.

It only took a few minutes, but it made a huge difference to her day.

Sometimes good customer service isn’t about making a sale, it’s about helping people.

If you’re local and need hardware, DIY supplies, or a hand fitting something simple, pop into the shop. We’re always happy to help.
