Bristol Wood Recycling Project Bristol Wood Recycling Project is a self-financing social enterprise working to benefit community an Our name gives away a bit of what we do. But not very much.

We are many things:
"Since 2004...a timber merchant. An ecological waste wood management company. A community enterprise. A wood workshop. A self financing social enterprise. A salvage and reclamation yard of wood. A home-grown business that has sprung out of derelict land. A unique specimen in an increasingly homogenised world."

Are you looking to volunteer somewhere? Have you considered us?

We're not just a place to buy awesome reclaimed timber! Our volunteering programme offers people a chance to get their hands dirty by helping us collect waste timber to sell in our shop or use in our workshops. We also help give people experience and confidence using tools!

Please feel free to pop in for a chat or email us at [email protected] for more info.

We have so much great stuff at the moment! Alongside our classics like pallet wood and scaff, we have loads of cool hardwoods and half price sales on Osmo oil.

With half term kicking off, we are stocked and ready for all your woody needs!

As always, we would not be stocked and ready to go without the hard work of all of our volunteers who have been busy collecting, de-nailing and putting away the timber in the shop. Not to mention all the cutting, planing, and finishing of our workshop products and off the peg shelves! 💚💚

There are so many good deals to be had so come visit us soon!

SCIENCE WORKTOPS

An absolute gem of a product to have in our shop ATM.

Old school science desks are usually made from Iroko (hardwood) or something similar. These look to be around 1980ish. Absolutely full of character and in really great condition (minus the gum of course 🫪)

They have a beautiful patina on the top where hundreds of school kids have etched out markings over the years. The underside is smoother and less characterful but none the less gorgeous!

The worktops are 750mm wide and 25mm thick. We have a range of lengths and these are priced at £64.95/metre.

Octagonal tops are so cool! We have 5 all together (2 150cm and 3@ 180cm). These are not priced yet because we want to process them a bit more.

Keep an eye out for before and after pics! These would be so cool as a game table or just a standard dining table.

Please feel free to give us a call if you want to know more!
