Working with Fentrade Limited and LEB Construction Ltd, AluK systems were used to help bring architect Mathew Tench’s Mondrian-inspired façade to life on the west Wales coast. This is a highly visual but technically demanding design.

Across the scheme:

SL52 capped curtain walling (including large-scale façade screens and custom detailing)

58BW HI tilt & turn windows

GT55 commercial doors

The standout challenge was integrating the coloured aluminium panels within the curtain walling system, which required close coordination between AluK’s technical team and Fentrade’s fabrication expertise. This project is A good example of what happens when design intent, fabrication and system expertise are aligned from the start.

Stirling Prize-winning Burntwood School showcases a range of AluK’s commercial systems, at scale.

Products specified included AluK windows, SG52 curtain walling, and bespoke SL52 curtain walling, all delivering striking façades, thermal efficiency, and much needed security across the redeveloped campus.

Stakeholders: Allford Hall Monaghan Morris (Architects), Lendlease (Main Contractor), Richmond and Wandsworth Councils, Burntwood School, and AluK.

Project Secured | Dallas Rd, Bedford

Another exciting project secured, we are delighted to be part of the Dallas Road development. A £67 million scheme delivered on behalf of MCR Property Group. Working alongside Coda Studios, Pegasus Group & Arkay Windows Ltd.

Scheme comprises construction of 341 dwellings to include townhouses, duplexes and apartments in a series of separate buildings varying from 3 to 7 storeys, with associated car parking, servicing and plant, on site open space, pedestrian and vehicle access, landscaping and all associated works.

A range of AluK windows, doors and curtain walling systems will be incorporated in to the façade package for this development including 77ID, C70S, GT55 TB & SL52 curtain walling.

Completion estimated for 23/06/2027 as a guideline.
