It's nearly two weeks since we closed our shop door for the last time and we just wanted to say a huge "Thank You" for all the lovely messages of good wishes for our future.
We have been overwhelmed by the visits in person, the cards, flowers, presents and booze (lots of booze!) that we have received from so many people.
It is definitely the people that we will miss most and that regular contact with so many over such a long period of time that made us feel such a part of our lovely community. But we hope we will still see many of you as we're determined to stay in this amazing village and continue to support it's many diverse independent businesses.

Remember it's the last day open for the Post Office today.
So if you would like to buy Christmas stamps, get cash out or pay cash into your bank account, pay a bill, tax your car, top up your phone, gas or electric, or have a parcel to collect please do it by 4pm today.
Post Office Ltd are coming to do a final audit and shut down tomorrow so we might have a short time tomorrow morning to be open but we can't guarantee how long for so please don't leave it too late.

Please come and get your parcels this weekend.
Due to our imminent closure all parcels still here on Monday will have to be returned to sender. Also please remember not to chose our Post Office or shop as your delivery point for parcels from now on as we can no longer accept them.
