IMPORTANT UPDATE

Staying open for at least another 12 months.

I’m delighted to announce that the hardware store will stay open for at least another 12 months. I’ll be giving it the best possible chance to survive in the long term.

Our commitment to you:

Times are hard, and I know costs are rising. I’ll continue working to keep prices as competitive as possible, while offering the convenience of a local shop.
Since opening, my approach has been simple: only stock products that I would buy myself and that meet a professional standard. That commitment will continue.

WHAT WE OFFER
I’ll continue to offer as wide a range of products and services as I can. Our services include:
• Dry cleaning
• Key cutting
• Laser engraving for pet tags, house signs and Christmas decorations.

There’s also a NEW WEBSITE on the way, which will help you get a clearer picture of what we stock and the services we offer. Keep them peeled! 👀
Thank you for your support
I really appreciate your support, and I hope Cricklade Hardware will be here for many years to come. Thank you for helping give the shop that opportunity.

For those of you who know me, and/or come in the shop, will know that I have been trying to complete a house move for some time. (That’s an understatement)
Well it’s finally happening, we should complete this Friday 28th August. This means that I will have to close the shop occasionally, maybe at short notice.
We will be closed this Thursday and Friday the 27th and 28th hopefully open on Saturday 29th.
We will be closed Bank holiday Monday 31st, then keep an eye on this page for further information going forward, as there is a lot of work required to get the new house ready for my dad to join us.
Thanks for your ongoing support and understanding.

It’s been a while since I last posted, but I wanted to highlight one of the main issues impacting small independent businesses.
Below is an extract from a letter I received this morning. This will give you an insight into the type of price rises I am experiencing across the board from suppliers. The one below follows a similar percentage rise in April this year from this supplier.
Whilst I do my best to minimise the impact this has on my sell prices I can’t absorb it all.
