Today we say goodbye to Rodney Fell, one of our longest-standing colleagues, after an incredible 48 years with Howarth Timber & Building Supplies.
Rod joined us on April 1st 1977, as the youngest team member, originally seeking temporary work after dreaming of becoming a fireman.
Having spent nearly five decades behind a band saw or moulder, Rod says one of the most satisfying parts of the job was producing beautiful timber profiles and knowing he’d done a good job.
Though the fire service may be off the cards now, Rod is excited for retirement, travel, and seeing as many bands as possible.
Thank you Rod, for your dedication and hard work. You’ll be truly missed, happy retirement!
