Greg joined P C Henderson nearly four years ago, starting his journey as part of our production team, working on the rolling mill machine. In this role, he manufactured metal sections such as tracks and channels that are used across a wide range of our products.

Hotel Mayfair 1 has recently undergone an extensive refurbishment, with all 181 guest bedrooms upgraded. The brief called for elegant bi-parting sliding doors within the suites, designed to seamlessly separate the bedroom from the bathroom while maintaining a refined, contemporary feel.

To complement the hotels minimalist, modern aesthetic, the sliding door system demanded discreet,l concealed hardware. Husky Sliding 100 was selected from our popular and continually expanding sliding door range for a luxury villa renovation in Velp, the Netherlands. Chosen for its ability to accommodate door weights of up to 100 kg, the system was installed within both the living area and the entresol.

The design prioritised openness and natural light, with large windows and internal partition doors used to create flexible, connected spaces while maintaining a clean and contemporary aesthetic.

Commenting on the project, Dave Newton, Sales & Commercial Director at P C Henderson, said:
“Creating flexible living areas with functional use of space is becoming more popular. As a result, we’ve noticed a significant increase in the specification of sliding doors. This project is a fantastic example of that.”
