We are seeing an uplift in polished nickel for front doors. A gleaming mirror finish with a warm tone of nickel (rather than a cooler tone of chrome) is proving to be highly popular at the moment and it’s easy to see why. Here are some of our favourite pieces. The products we have selected here are all finely cast in a British foundry and go on to be expertly finished over a number weeks - the solid brass body applied with a thick nickel coating. It’s a long process but the result is a product that will live for generations.

Our scaled down 20mm cabinet k***s, perfectly replicated and reduced from the original best selling versions in larger sizes.

Reassuringly weighty despite their tiny proportions and absolutely spot on for smaller pieces of fine furniture or as unstated additions to your kitchen cabinetry.

Available in two designs - beehive or bloxwich - and three finishes; polished or polished antique brass, or polished nickel. (All of them begin life cast in solid brass).

Some of the (many) pieces we’ve been excited to add to the website this week ✨

Really very small cabinet k***s, perfectly formed, ideally suited to fine furniture, smaller drawers in polished brass, aged brass and nickel — it’s amazing how much difference such a small detail can make. Our shelf bracket collection is expanding again! (we’ll always have a soft spot for these): Add space and character easily without investing in bulky cabinetry.

Alongside a few of our favourite new kitchen ceramics and some simple enamel storage solutions that just make day-to-day life that bit easier.
