TUESDAY TAKEOVER, by Nick (Mr NIBOVI)
COMFORT IS RELATIVE.
I've spent a lot of my life in environments that most people would consider uncomfortable.
Military service. Skydiving. Teaching people to do things they'd never done before. Putting myself in situations where preparation, discipline and trust in yourself really matter.
But something struck me after speaking at an event recently.
For some people in that room, simply turning up was a huge achievement.
Walking into a room full of strangers. Putting themselves out there. Making the decision to invest in themselves, even when it felt uncomfortable.
And it reminded me of something important.
We all have a different starting point.
What feels like a small step to one person might feel like a giant leap to someone else.
Some of us are in our comfort zone. Some are stretching themselves. Others are already in a state of panic, just trying to find their feet.
None of those people are failures. They're simply at different stages of their journey.
Growth isn't about comparing yourself to the person next to you. It's about recognising where you are, understanding what is holding you back, and finding the courage to take your next step.
You don't need to change your entire life tomorrow.
You just need to be willing to do something today that moves you forward.
Your next step doesn't have to be big. It just has to be yours.
So, here's a question for you:
What's one thing you'd like to do, change or achieve, but have been putting off because it feels uncomfortable?
