Over the weekend of 5th & 6th September at the Dorset County Show in memory of the late Carol Adams, for those attending you will have the chance to guess the weight of the tractor...

All proceeds / donations will go to Weldmar Hospice Care .

Our weigh bridge came into use once again this morning assisting with a far better cause than just weighing sand and gravels. The tractor was weighed and its weight will be revealed at the show.

As a family run business home is where the heart is and family means more than anything. Without the help of outside funds places such as the Weldmar Hospice Care would struggle so dig deep in those pockets if you are attending the show or donate directly to Weldmar Hospice Care ❤️❤️

Busy, Busy 1st couple of loads out this morning locally just before 8am to enable customer to get his concrete in and laid before it gets too hot 🥵

We've had another busy week out with the grab lorry covering both Dorset and somerset

If your short of space and not got any room for a skip or means of disposing of surplus subsoil or concrete on your project then the ideal solution is a grab lorry.

Back to school days...🙌🫶👏

Its the little things in life that count like a Child's happy smiley face when at play or the giving of something back into your local community for the support given to us as a company over the many years from the people of our home town of Gillingham.

On Monday morning we had the pleasure of donating Cotswold gravel to "Gillingham Primary School" for the new digging pit for the children of Lady bird class. Here's to many hours of the children playing in their new pit and enjoying every moment of it.

It was a step back in time for our driver Darren who attended the school himself all those MANY years ago ...

Every company now a days has to take a look at it's running costs...

With the cost of fuel ever increasing for haulage companies and going through the roof we are seriously thinking of reverting / taking a step back in time to doing deliveries the good old fashioned way.

Not only is it cost effective its friendly for the environment and to the many gardeners too!!!😂🤣

⏳TIME TO TAKE ACTION BEFORE ITS TOO LATE ...

In the UK, it is now an offence to transport a load that is likely to cause danger or be a nuisance to any other person,property or following or passing vehicle.

If you are a company or trade person transporting loose or divisible loads such as aggregates,sand,gravel or subsoil/ hardcore etc that is stacked higher than your vehicle or trailer sides then your load must be completely covered with a appropriate cover or sheet.

😎 Well folks that's the last load going out the gates for today.

For all of you who have had deliveries today and over the week in preparation for the Bank holiday weekend, we thank you for your purchases and we wish you all well for this weekend... Don't go working too hard!!, but most importantly if your outside working make sure you are well protected from the lovely sunny rays😎🌞🌞and take some time out to relax and enjoy the good weather.

We are closed on Bank holiday Monday 25th but will be back to normal working hours throughout the week ahead 👍
