Normally I’d stick a post up to remind anyone coming to TRNSMT that we sell ponchos, waterproofs and dry socks if you’re in need but it’s a bit beyond that today. Better bring a snorkel, boat and a miracle!

We’ve just had an email from a Mrs Clarke of Mount Florida asking about fixings for a shelf. Her man is currently away working in Boston and mentioned something about bringing a souvenir home. Rest assured, we will have the fixings for any shelf no matter what he brings home, even if it is quite heavy…

It’s May, it’s Bank Holiday Weekend No.2. It’s a repost as Brian no longer trusts me taking his photo.

Shut Monday. Open Tuesday. Get your tools at this weekend at the Costa del Barras. Simple.

Two things to take from this picture:

1. That we’ll be closed for the bank holiday Monday but open again at 07:00 on Tuesday.

2. It’s almost endearing that Brian still trusts me when I ask him nicely to pose for a photo under a massive sign.

SATURDAY OPENING UPDATE:

With the football tomorrow and with traffic management in mind we’re going to be operating reduced hours tomorrow like other business in the area. We’ll be open as usual at 09:30 but have brought forward the closing time a little earlier and will now close at 14:00. Open as normal on Sunday.

As you can see from these photos he’s been EXTREMELY busy at work this week and needs a rest, so we’ve decided to close the bank holiday Monday and grant him his wish.

Open again at 7am on Tuesday, belly rubs and gravy bones will be gratefully received.

Thanks to all that have bought one of Paul’s charity lamps, and to anyone that’s donated an old tool that helps him make more. That’s another £1000 winging its way to Cash for Kids. It’s a win win win, the charity gets the full amount, the buyer gets a lovely lamp and an old tool proves it’s still useful, but enough about Paul…
