World Clean Air Day!

We have recently invested in a new dust suppression system, which has been installed throughout the stockpiles at Precon Coatbridge.

Designed to reduce airborne dust across the site, the system wraps around the entire building, helping to improve air quality for our employees, visitors, and the surrounding community.

The team can use the system reactively with a switch of a button and plan for dry weather, setting the system on a timer so it operates when it is needed most.

Speaking to the team on site, they have felt a huge difference since the implementation of the dust suppression system.

A behind-the-scenes look at our new robot and splitting line at our Cambuslang Brick Plant!🧱

The new robotic handling system has allowed us to reimagine our manufacturing process, increasing efficiency, quality, and consistency.

How does it work?
✅ Unsplit walling is fed into the infeed conveyor that feeds to the robot handling system
✅ The robot lifts the parent unit and places it onto the splitting line.

✅ The product is then split into various sizes and transferred for quality inspection.

✅ Once inspected, it travels to the end of the conveyor, where the robot lifts and places the product onto a pallet.

✅ Finally, the product is packed, labelled, and prepared for dispatch to the stockyard.
