Last week marked the end of our year as sponsors of the Legacy Championship, with the final tournament taking place at Bearsden Golf Club.

It has been a pleasure to be involved with this initiative, supporting both greenkeepers, and the fantastic work that BIGGA Scotland does for the industry.

Congratulations to the winning team of Paul Murphy, John Brown, and David McIndoe on winning the competition and thank you to everyone who took part throughout the season.

We are delighted to confirm that Patersons Quarries will be continuing our partnership with Bigga, as main sponsor of the Legacy Club in 2027⛳

The new reconstruction of George Square in Glasgow city centre has brought back memories of something that Patersons took part in many years ago.

Yes, that's right, that is our sand in George Square!

A very interesting blast from the past. Does anybody remember this? 👀

Our new tumbling line has been installed at our Cambuslang Brick Plant. 🧱

This addition has allowed us to automate a process that was previously carried out by hand, creating an overall smoother process at our brick plant.

1️⃣ Firstly, the bricks, walling, and pavers are loaded onto the infeed conveyor before being processed through the tumbler.

2️⃣ Next, an incline conveyor feeds the product onto a vibrating table, which transfers it to a marshalling table.

3️⃣ The product is then stacked onto pallets and moved onto the outfeed conveyor, where it is packaged and prepared for the stockyard.
