Good Morning Everyone,

We hope you are all safe and well. It is with great pleasure we are able to announce that from the 22nd June 2020; Northfleet and Tilbury will be open for Saturday trading between 6:30am - 12pm.

Please follow normal ordering procedures with the office as staff at the weighbridge will be unable to process orders that aren't on the system.

Polite reminder that office working hours finish at 3:45pm on Fridays.

- Full Time position for loading shovel driver, CAT 972M, loading lorries at aggregates depot.
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in loading shovels CAT972M (or equivalent) in a similar environment.
- Must hold full tickets (front loading shovel, CPCS or similarly recognised competency scheme like NPORS etc), 360 experience and ticket preferable but not essential.
- Duties will be loading lorries, mixing of blended products, weighbridge cover (if needed), assistance with vessel discharging at times.
- Must be reliable.
- Rolling shift pattern with overtime available
- Salary to be agreed depending on experience
- Immediate start.

This was by no means an easy decision however we feel it to be the correct one. With the current situation surrounding Covid-19 it is unclear exactly when the depot will reopen however rest assured we will be in contact as soon as possible.

COVID 19 – Important Update & Notice 24/03/20

Dear Customer,

We are continuously monitoring the developing & changing U.K. situation, regarding COVID-19. As a matter of priority, we want to update our Key Supply chain with the following;
It is paramount that we keep our supply-chain safe, this includes customers, staff, third party sub-contractors and the general public. Stema will continue to ensure a high standard of internal cleansing, disinfecting areas within the office and operational environment, whilst limiting personal interaction as much as possible.

As it stands the U.K. government has made it clear that the construction industry will remain open, whilst it is critical in maintaining the U.K. road, rail and infrastructure network.
Therefore, it is essential that we remain open to satisfy the requirements of our supply chain and create some reassurance in these very uncertain times.

Stema would like to thank you for your full support and understanding on the situation and our staff look forward to assisting you with orders & deliveries, across all our sites. Due to staff working, orders need to be placed by 1400 to be processed for the following day.

COVID 19 – Business Continuity Plan – Important Update & Notice

Dear Customer,

With the continuously changing U.K. situation, Stema Mibau Group are monitoring developments and updates. We will continue to carry out best practice, in alignment with Government advice and general protocol.

It is paramount that we keep our supply-chain safe, this includes customers, staff, third party sub-contractors and the general public. Stema will continue to ensure a high standard of internal cleansing, disinfecting areas within the office and operational environment, whilst limiting personal interaction as much as possible.

Therefore, effective from the Monday 23rd of March, changes to signatures & authorisation of tipping will follow:

• It is the responsibility of the driver to confirm who is responsible for receiving the load.

• This can be achieved by the driver speaking from his cab ensuring there is a two-metre safe distance in line with Government guidelines.

• The receiver will then confirm the name and the driver print this on the ticket, together with the time the load was discharged / arrived at site.
