Since 1875 we have served the people of Holmes Chapel with everything from house and kitchen wares, to garden equipment such as Bosch Garden Power tools and a wide range of hand tools and power tools. We also have a wide selection of paints, ironmongery and plumbing

Some of the more eagle eyed amongst you may have noticed we’ve had a change of uniform, going from our old light blue shirts to a new dark blue design, with a new Morreys Logo.

But the new logo isn’t actually new at all!

Several months ago, a long standing customer brought in an old Morreys receipt they found still in an envelope in their loft.
The receipt was dated 8th May 1963! And on said receipt was the old Morreys logo, which we all agreed was lovely.

So for the first time in 63 years, the old Morreys logo is back in pride of place, on our new shirts, bringing the moto of our store to life… a modern shop, with traditional values.

MORE ELECTRIC FANS ARRIVING TODAY & TOMORROW!

It’s been a busy week for Fan sales this week.. and with more hot weather to come, demand is high!… but we here at Morreys are endeavouring to keep the village cool!
Later today, and tomorrow, More desk, pedestal and tower fans are due to arrive!
