FUNDRAISING RAFFLE

As some of you may be aware Toni Digby from Suffolk Fasteners sadly passed away back in June and we would very much like her memory to live on here at DJ Evans.

Although it’s been a tough year for both Damon & Emma, we want to take this opportunity to help others needing the same amazing care that St Elizabeth Hospice gave to the family through this tough time, so this is where you can help and at the same time win a fabulous prize.

Tickets £5.00 per strip of 5 numbers

Draw will take place Tuesday 23rd December, when you will be contacted to collect your prize, if you were one of the lucky winners.

All proceeds will go to St Elizabeth Hospice, Ipswich.

Hey guys.

For those who dont know, myself, kieron and mat have been taken in at DJ Evans Ipswich. This has been an incredibly emotional and tough new venture to come to terms with, but we are being looked after well by the team.

I have already seen quite a few customers and it's been lovely hearing how much you all care and ask about me and dad.

A lot of you already know that my mum passed away in June. She was at St elizabeth hospice for a while and all the staff treated her and our family with such care.

DJ evans are currently doing a raffle with all proceeds going to the hospice.
Tickets are £5 min. Come and have a look and have a chance at winning some great prizes and donating to an incredible cause.

Apart from other heartfelt messages, I had this message last night from a customer and it meant a lot. I also want to say thankyou to all of you for all the memories and the messages/comments on here. Some of you had used us for so many years. Reading all the positive comments means a lot.

I want to personally thank everyone for coming in today to see us. I know a lot of you couldn't come and I apologise for the late notice.

Thankyou for all the kind messages. It's so nice and truly emotional too to see so many of you that loved coming to see us and those of you who were there at the start.

Small businesses honestly are dieing out. Instead of using tik tok, amazon or whatever for cheap screws, support local as I guarentee it they will appreciate it 10000 times more.

The staff here will be moving over to another employer and i will still personally be happy to look after everyone. I won't say it will be easy because it will be extremely hard for me. But my passion is customer service, which is also dieing out.

I want to thank everyone again for everything. Some of you have reached out to be updated with what happens and you will be.

Take care of yourselves and hopefully see you soon!

Someone once said on here "use it before you loose it". Those words couldn't be truer today.
It is with an extremely heavy heart that we announce the closure of Suffolk Fasteners Ipswich LTD.
Our last day is today, our shutter is up if you wish to come and see us, but please be respectful at this difficult time.

Our small family business was bought by my parents Toni & Damon in 2001. They worked hard and made it their own and i then joined the business in 2011 and since then I have made more changes and I've built up my customer relations well. Customer service has always been my passion.

I want to thankyou all for supporting us as a small business and as a family. We have known a lot of you for so many years.

Myself and my collegues will be moving so if you need any information or would like to be contacted once we've moved to place orders, you can contact me but please be patient and respectful.

I've been going through some really old posts. I've found a few randoms from the first work post, which was dad with a customers Mustang to a random one 🤣.

Seeing all these photos made me smile as I've been working at SFI for 15 years, and i have been asked a few times in the past if I like my job? I've always answered yes I love it!!

I was so nervous when I first started and overwhelmed at all the types of nuts and bolts. It made it even more confusing when customers called nuts bolts and vis versa 🤣🤣

What i felt most from looking at all the memories was how much I loved being at work. Maybe a bit too much at times, but it and the customers are my passion.

I also realised how much my life has changed from moving to Suffolk from Norfolk. I miss Norfolk so much at times, but if I hadn't made the move, I wouldn't have met Mat, and things would be difficult.

Thank you to all of you who have been so nice to me over the years and even become friends.
Live and enjoy your life to the full. Even on truly dark days, having people around you helps so much 😊🌷
