We are looking for a reliable, professional Van Driver to join us on an initial 3-month contract—with a real opportunity to go permanent for the right candidate.

💰 What’s on offer:
Pay: £13.50 per hour

Perks: 24 days holiday + bank holidays (pro-rata) & Company Pension

Work-Life Balance: Local deliveries

Hours: Monday to Friday & alternate Saturday mornings

📦 What you’ll be doing:
Delivering building materials safely to trade and residential customers across Yorkshire.

Loading/unloading deliveries and carrying out daily vehicle checks.

Providing excellent, friendly service to our customers.

Working closely with our yard and branch staff to keep things running smoothly.

👋 What we’re looking for:
A valid UK driving licence (Category B).

Proven van driving experience is essential.

A reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious attitude.

Experience delivering building materials is a bonus, but not essential!

✅ £15.50 per hour

You’ll be delivering building materials to trade and residential customers and working with a solid, experienced team. A Class 2 licence, CPC and tacho card are required. Experience in builders’ merchants is helpful but not essential.

Michael Paine

On 28th April, passed away peacefully at home aged 74 years. Dearly beloved husband of Lynda, a much loved dad of Darren, Shelly and Russ, a dear father in law of Helen, a loving grandad of Aimee and Emma, Katie and Bethany also a dear brother of Allan and the late Barbara and June. Michael will be very sadly missed by all his family and friends. Funeral service and cremation at Rawdon Crematorium on Monday 18th May at 1:45 pm. Family flowers only please.
