Back in November at The Children's Hospital Winter Ball, MHH Contracting supported the Transform a Room at Becton appeal — and we are so excited to see what’s happening next 💙
The funding will now go towards creating two lounge spaces at Becton — one in Sapphire Lodge and one in Emerald Lodge — making the space more comfortable for the young people who spend time there.
These are big projects, involving furniture, refurbishment and artwork, so the Children's Hospital will also be topping up the funding with support from other donors to bring the vision fully to life.
Right now, The Children's Hospital are at the scoping stage — one of the Art+ team are heading there today to start measuring up! From there, they will begin developing detailed mood boards and working closely with both staff and the young people themselves to shape the look and feel of the spaces.
