Yard Operative / Relief Van Driver 📍

We’re looking for a hardworking, reliable team player to join our Leeming bar branch.

The role includes:
✅ Serving and assisting customers in the yard
✅ Loading and unloading vehicles safely
✅ Maintaining a clean and organised yard
✅ Picking and preparing customer orders
✅ Covering local van deliveries when required

What we’re looking for:
✔️ A positive attitude and strong work ethic
✔️ Great customer service skills
✔️ Ability to work as part of a team
✔️ Full UK driving licence (essential)
✔️ Forklift licence preferred, but training can be provided.

We have had a few customers visit the shop lately asking why we are shutting down or have been surprised we are still open, I would like to reassure everyone that is not the case and we will be here at our Leeming Bar site and at our Brompton on Swale branch for the forseeable future. We think the confusion has come about due to North Yorkshire timber has closed it local branches.
