Yorkshire Independent Building Supplies Ltd Yorkshire Independent Building Supplies is a company that was founded in 2003. We have two branches, one in Brompton on swale and one in Leeming Bar. WHY YIBS?

As a local independent company we believe in forging and maintaining a connection with our customers so visiting our sites and having orders dealt with on a personal basis is still important to us. However, we also realise that ecommerce is growing and as continuous development and innovation is one of our core strengths, we have developed this site to meet the changing needs of our local tradesman and retail customers. We hope you like our initiative and look forward to receiving your orders. Here are some of the reasons why we think you will be satisfied:

■CHOICE: We have one of the largest range of competitively priced quality products in the area. Check out our new bathroom range or visit our bathroom showroom at Gathereley
■EXPERIENCE: All our locally sourced staff are highly trained not only to give you the best advice, but the correct advice. They pride themselves on promising excellent customer service.
■LOCAL AND INDEPENDENT: As a local company our stock is tailored to local needs. As an independent we are willing and usually able to source anything we don't stock.
■DELIVERY: We Can deliver most goods to your home or site so no need to worry about transporting those big bulky items. And in most cases its FREE*.

We have had a few customers visit the shop lately asking why we are shutting down or have been surprised we are still open, I would like to reassure everyone that is not the case and we will be here at our Leeming Bar site and at our Brompton on Swale branch for the forseeable future. We think the confusion has come about due to North Yorkshire timber has closed it local branches.
