Last week, we gathered friends at the Brookhaven home of Jay Johnson and Tom Cashin for an installation by James Perkins, the New York-based sculptor and land artist. The evening was part of Métier’s “New York Stories” series, which celebrates local artists and the creative communities that form around them.

For the occasion, Perkins installed vibrant geometric sculptures throughout Jay and Tom’s garden. His colorful works drew inspiration from the couple’s Andy Warhol collection — a reflection of their longstanding connection to the artist and his Factory.
