Most solar installs look fine from the outside.

But if nobody was grinding on your roof, there's a good chance water's already finding its way in.When tiles get lifted and relaid without being cut back properly, they don't sit flush. That gap is all it takes.

Ask your installer before the tiles go back down — it's a five minute check that saves a very expensive repair.

If you can hear the grinder, that's a good sign.
