The studio is having an open day on the 30th of November between 10am and 6pm. There will be lighting, art, print, ceramics and much more. Come and have a coffee and snack.the coffee is roasted on site and is excellent! Please drop by and meet the creators.

With a heavy heart I think it’s time to go. At the end of August we will be closing the shop for the last time. The website will be online shortly after, so we’re not going away completely. Once I’ve worked out the logistics we’ll still be doing the lighting commissions and repairs. I’ll also be hunting for more amazing lighting design classics, so stay connected for that! Thanks for your support and perhaps we will see you before we finally closed.

This is a rare German plexiglass lamp (amber/white), circa 1970. I’ve had one before, but unfortunately I can’t present them as a pair because it’s found a new home. It’s approximately 26cm high and 20cm wide. DM me for a price if you’re interested.

Being by the sea we love a light that encapsulates the very essence of where we are!!

This beautiful bit of 1960’s kitsch came our way recently and we just couldn’t say no…!!

We know you won’t be able to say no either!

Made by TELE-AQUARIUM PRODUCTS of Blackpool these once common lamps are very rare indeed now and this one is a stunner.

Two brutalist ceramic lamps. Hand made in Margate.

This 1940’s standard lamp is a genuine joy!!

It’s a chunky, shapely piece and it’s very much of its era.

The veneered wood finish has beautiful patina and it has just been fully rewired with a gorgeous, contrasting twisted fabric flex.

This is a real rarity!
